Post-operative bras

Gisela presents with the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), a post-operative bra made with the advice of a group of professionals and patients of the Association, designed for clinical use. After listening to the concerns of a group of women volunteers, we have managed to make the bra that we are most proud of at Gisela, our post-operative bra. Gisela will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sales of this bra to projects developed by the AECC, focused on improving the lives of people affected by cancer, promoting cancer research and promoting health education. It will also donate part of the production to patients in need.

Features of our postoperative bras

Post-operative bras are special bras for women who have undergone breast surgery, so it adapts to either a post-operative bra for mastectomy or a post-operative bra for breast reduction or augmentation. Thanks to its front closure with hook-and-eye fasteners, you can adjust it to your contour without pressure. It is a cotton postoperative bra that will provide maximum comfort in contact with the delicate skin of your chest. Adjustable in the front for greater comfort when putting it on and taking it off, with prosthesis cover and soft and spongy wide straps to avoid pressure on the shoulders. The straps can be worn in the classic way or crossed in the back for extra support.

When is a postoperative bra needed?

In the delicate moment that begins after a breast operation, where you may feel discomfort and pain in the area, what you need is comfort, and a garment that fits you. Because we understand that these are not easy times, we have designed a post-operative bra to accompany you in your recovery. Cotton bra without underwire for postoperative, with built-in internal pocket, so you can easily insert your prosthesis. It is perfect for the moment after a breast operation, either augmentation or reduction or mastectomy.

Postoperative Mastectomy Bra

These bras are primarily intended for women who have undergone a mastectomy. It offers soft, comfortable support and has pockets for breast prostheses. The straps are wider and adjustable for comfort.

Postoperative breast reduction bra for breast reduction

A postoperative bra is essential after breast reduction surgery as it aids recovery and relieves pain. Postoperative bras offer additional support and added compression to reduce swelling and minimize breast movement.

The volunteers who participated in the development of this postoperative bra told us that they did not find beautiful bras with these characteristics, which made them feel special. That's why we added the lace details on the neckline and back. In addition, we designed a matching thong effect panty to achieve the set without losing the comfort of both garments.
